Seit vielen Jahren arbeiten die Rocksängerin Sabine Noß und der Jazzposaunist Christof Thewes in der Band Phase IV zusammen und kreieren seither, komplettiert durch den Bassklarinetisten Hartmut Oßwald ,den Kontrabassisten Jan Oestreich und den Schlagzeuger Martial Frenzel, selbstkomponierte (Pop-)Songs in einem eigenwilligen Stilmix zwischen Unplugged-Minimalismus und rasantem Powerplay mit Dub, Funk und (Free)Jazzeinflüssen.
