At the new building of the public support corporation, there is a memorial board,
which had already been attached in 1946 on suggestion of the Americans in the proximity of
the former synagogue. The inscription reads:
Here stood the Börneplatz-Synagogue which was destroyed by Nazi-criminals on the 9th day of November 1938.

The place: The board, in former times located on the northwest corner of thecemetery wall of the Old Jewish Cemetery, stands now at the back of the customer center of the public support corporation, Neuer Börneplatz.
